Dr. Sanchez moved to Spokane to join Rockwood Clinic in 2012 after finishing up his fellowship in Atlanta. He is originally from Portland, Oregon, and has strong ties to the Pacific Northwest. As a physician, Dr. Sanchez is passionate about providing excellent patient care with a particular interest in IgA nephropathy, Lupus Nephritis, and Polycystic Kidney disease.
Beyond Nephrology, Dr. Sanchez is raising 3 children in a very busy and active household. His passions include baseball card and silver collecting, watching college football with friends, and visiting various lakes throughout Eastern Washington.

With a unique academic foundation in philosophy and religion alongside a Master of Arts in Bioethics from New York University, Dr. Ray views medicine through a lens of equity and human connection. He is dedicated not only to achieving the best possible clinical outcomes for his patients but also to addressing and mending the systemic inequities often found within the healthcare system.
Dr. Ray’s extensive clinical training includes a residency at the University of Washington and a specialized fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Colorado. Since 2020, he has served the Inland Northwest community, specializing in the management of complex kidney diseases and hypertension. Beyond the clinic, Dr. Ray is an educator who believes in the inherent importance of the life we live. He values deep connection with his patients and the people he holds dear, often finding balance and inspiration in the beauty of the outdoors.

Dr. Satinder Singh brings a global perspective and deep clinical expertise to the Pacific Northwest Kidney & Hypertension Institute. After completing his initial medical training in Delhi, India, he moved to New York to complete both his residency and fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Dr. Singh has developed a reputation for excellence in specialized areas of renal care, with a particular focus on Kidney Stones and ICU Nephrology. He is committed to community-based care and holds memberships in several prestigious organizations, including the National Kidney Foundation and the Renal Physician Association. Dr. Singh believes in empowering his patients through education to better manage chronic conditions.

Dr. Cotterell then completed extensive post-graduate fellowship training at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), specializing in both nephrology and transplant immunology.
Dedicated to providing top-tier patient care alongside strong clinical leadership, Dr. Cotterell has served as a Medical Director of Dialysis and a Physician Board Chairman across major healthcare networks. He combines decades of high-level academic and clinical experience with a compassionate, patient-first philosophy. As an elected Fellow of both the American College of Physicians (FACP) and the American Society of Nephrology (FASN), he ensures his patients benefit from the most current and advanced treatments in kidney health and hypertension management.
